New scheme guidance for claims managers

Comcare has released two new scheme guidance publications to assist claims managers in applying the provisions of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. Visit Guidance on applying the SRC Act for more information.
Initial determination
- Claims for injuries and diseases arising from home-based work – provides guidance on considerations when determining liability for an injury or disease that occurs as a result of home-based work.
- Claims for injuries sustained at the boundaries of a place of work – provides guidance on claims that involve the boundaries of a place of work and relevant considerations when assessing them under the SRC Act.
