Interview and selection process
After the closing date for a position, we review and assess the applications received and contact those who are selected for an interview.
Selection for interview
If you applied for a position and have been selected for interview, we will contact you to arrange a date and time.
Interview location and details
We let you know:
- the interview location
- any other requirements, such as whether there will be a work sample test, presentation or we would like to see a folio of your work.
Your availability for interview
We usually give at least two days' notice for an interview.
Unless you indicate otherwise in your application, we will consider you are available for interview following the application closing date.
If you are not available for interview at the designated time, or cannot be contacted, you may not be considered further for selection.
Referees
If you are selected for interview, we ask you to provide two current referees.
The Selection Committee may contact your referees for a referee report after the interview.
Equity and diversity
We apply fair and transparent processes when assessing the capacity of a person to perform the inherent requirements of a position.
This includes assessing their knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience and their potential for future development.
