Employers in the scheme

Comcare works in partnership with employers in the Comcare scheme to create safe and healthy workplaces and to assist injured workers.

The following information is tailored for:

  • Commonwealth government agencies and statutory authorities (excluding members of the Australian Defence Force) and the ACT government and its agencies, refer to:

  • National employers who have been granted a self-insurance licence for workers' compensation by the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission, refer to:

  • Australian Defence Force - the ADF is covered by the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1991 and is part of the Commonwealth OHS jurisdiction. For more information refer to:
