2011 National Conference
The 2011 Comcare National Conference was held on 12—14 September 2011 at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
The theme of this year's Conference was:
A new era in work health and safety—lead and shape for impact.
The conference incorporated sub-themes that focussed on key elements of employee health and safety.

- Shape—your team for better work ability
- Impact—achieve effective outcomes in service delivery.
The objectives of the conference were to:
- examine contemporary issues and explore continuous improvement opportunities in work health, work safety and injury management of Australian workers
- raise awareness to recognise the importance of leadership at all levels and people management as critical success factors for organisations managing workplace injuries
- provide participants with significant professional development and networking opportunities
- deliver relevant information, ideas and strategies to assist organisations to develop their capabilities and improve their health and safety practices.
