How to apply
To apply for Comcare’s 2012 Graduate Development Program:
Stage one: Application
Job pack and selection criteria documents:
1. In one combined word document include
a. your completed Application Cover Sheet (the last page of the jobpack) including current referee contact details.
b. your responses addressing the selection criteria
c. your resume outlining your work history, relevant qualifications and training.
2. Submit your completed application for the 2012 Graduate Development Program by clicking on the following link:
When applying you will be asked to upload your combined application and enter your relevant personal details.
Applications will open on Thursday 01 September 2011 and close at 11.00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on Thursday 22 September 2011. Extensions may not be granted.
Stage two: Short listing
Applicants that have met the mandatory requirements will be asked to complete an online psychometric test via email.
Applicants will be rated on their individual test results and on the responses made against the selection criteria and will be notified of their progression to the next round via email or phone.
During the shortlisting and interview stages, it is important that contact details are kept updated so that we can keep in contact with you. If you do change your contact details during the process please email graduate.recruitment@comcare.gov.au with your updated details.
Stage three: Interviews
Interviews will take place in late October.
Applicants that are invited to attend an interview will be asked to bring photo identification and a written reference from one or more of their nominated referees. Applicants will be provided with a template that will need to be completed and brought along to the interview.
Stage four: Offers
The selection process will be completed by early November 2011 and formal offers will be made shortly after.
Successful applicants will commence the Graduate Development Program in mid-February 2012.
